DANBURY — The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury is sponsoring a “College Safety” workshop for male and female college-bound students and their parents.

Topics to be discussed include personal safety tips, risk reduction strategies, dating violence, stalking, hazing, the link between sexual assault and alcohol/drugs, students’ rights, and date rape drugs. The program will be presented by Heidi Rankin, Women’s Center Community Educator.

Participants are asked to register for the free workshop, which will take place from 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday, July 16, by calling 731-5200.
