True Magic
True Magic
To the Editor:
âBooks may be the only true magicâ was what brought thousands of shoppers to the Friends of the C.H. Booth Libraryâs 35th Annual Book Sale this past weekend. And while in town, those book sale patrons also enjoyed SCANâs Municipal Center Art Show, the Organic Farmersâ Market, shopping, and meals at our local restaurants.
The Friends of the Library volunteers wish to thank the following book sale supporters. Without them, the sale wouldnât be quite as much fun: Jeff Smith, A Sign Depot; Tony Posca, Andreaâs Pastry Shop; Eunice, Bagel Delight; Big Y; Boy Scout Troop 70; Caraluzziâs Markets; Carminuccioâs Pizza; C.H. Booth Library Board of Trustees and library staff; Dan Shields, Chartwells Food Service; Elissa Gellis, Continuing Education; Ivan, CT VIP Relocations; Costco; Curtis Packaging; Jeff Dymerksi, Dunkinâ Donuts; Ralph Freer, Eastern Color Graphics and Printing; McKinney Communications; Matt Memoli and Amanda Hadgraft and their Newtown High School teams; Newtown Police Department; Pudelz Tee Shirts; Reed Intermediate School administration, staff, and wonderful custodians; Stew Leonardâs; Stop & Shop; Nancy Crevier and The Newtown Bee; the Town of Newtown; World of Wine and Spirits. Thank you!
Proceeds of the book sale directly enhance the C.H. Booth Libraryâs book, audio books, and DVD collections, its subscription services, as well as its technological needs.
Sincerely,
Denise Kaiser
