Cycle With Friends, Family For Lung Health This September
EAST HARTFORD â This September, join the American Lung Association of New England in one of the areaâs most scenic and established cycling events: the 24th annual Autumn Escape Bike Trek. The trek takes off in historic Plymouth, Mass. on Friday, September 12, and ends in Provincetown on Sunday, September 14.Â
And now for the weekend-only rider, there is a two-day trek option.Â
The Autumn Escape Bike Trek is perfect cyclists of all levels. Experienced cyclists can challenge themselves, and novices will have a great introduction to bike treks. The ride can be done as family event, or solo with new friends to be met.
Travel over 160 miles along the Massachusetts coast and contribute to the ongoing fight against lung disease. The American Lung Association will provide prizes, a lobster dinner, entertainment and support along the way, as well as overnight accommodations, medical and technical support, food and beverages and more.
The American Lung Association is the nationâs oldest voluntary health charity and has been fighting for lung health for over a century. The funds raised by the American Lung Association of New England support programs, advocacy and education in the region, helping friends, family, and neighbors breathe easier.Â
