Braydon Francis Joseph Capone

Christine and William Capone of Bethel announce the birth of a son, Braydon Francis Joseph Capone, born May 24, at Danbury Hospital.

Braydon weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 19½ inches long.

He joins a sister, Morgan, who is 2½ years old.

Maternal grandparents are Peggy and Walter Schweikert of Newtown.

Sue and Gary Capone of Danbury are the paternal grandparents.

Emma Leigh Guilfoil

Angelina Carney of Newtown and Vincent Guilfoil Jr of Sandy Hook are the proud parents of a baby girl named Emma Leigh Guilfoil.

Emma was born on July 10 at 11:21 am. She weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

The proud grandparents are Vincent Sr and Diane Guilfoil of Sandy Hook, and town clerk Debbie Aurelia.

Great-grandparents are Marie and Peter Piskura of Newtown and John and Karin Aurelia; Proud aunts and uncles are Tammy Rowe, Ashley Carney, and John Carney.

Azelia Esther Kathleen Sigmund

Angela and Scott Sigmund of Bristol announce the birth of a daughter, Azelia Esther Kathleen Sigmund, June 5, at Bristol Hospital.

Azelia weighed 6 pounds, 13½ ounces, and was 19 inches in length.

She joins her siblings, Dustin, age 13, Alesia, age 12, Kaidyn, 2½ years old, and Landyn, 1½ years old.

Maternal grandparents are Deborah and James Healey of Bristol, and Kathy and David Lord of Houlton, Maine.

Paternal grandparents are Kathi and Gary Weller of Newtown, and Keiko and Richard Sigmund of Westport.

Muriel and Newman Masse of Bristol are the maternal great-grandparents, as is Carl Lord of Houlton, Maine.

Amy Mounts and Darren Snyder of Myrtle Beach, S.C., both formerly of Newtown, welcomed a son, Samuel Louis Snyder-Mounts, on June 18. The baby weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces at birth, and was 20 inches long.

He joins siblings Elizabeth, 10, Rachel, 6, Jacob, 4, and Kevin Snyder-Mounts, 2.

Maternal grandparents are Betty and Gordon Mounts of Newtown.
