Congress Is In The Way On Energy

To the Editor:

I was pleasantly surprised when you advised our state legislature to consider Governor Rell’s proposed gas tax cap. Finally, you actually criticized our Democrats in Hartford, if only mildly.

However, your true colors came back when you decided to blame President Bush for the situation in the editorial. Perhaps your editorial board needs to investigate what our do-nothing Congress has done to implement the President’s energy plan ... they have done nothing but stand in the way.
