The mausoleum in the center of this photo was built at Village Cemetery on Elm Road when town benefactress Mary Hawley refurbished the graveyard. She also had the bridge on Hawley Lane, shown in this 1924 photo, rebuilt. To the right in the photo is Hawley Pond in Ram Pasture.
