Elimination Of 2018 NHS Graduates’ Non-Permanent School Records
In accordance with state regulations, which address the retention and disposal of student records, Newtown High School will be eliminating materials in the records of 2018 graduates that are not part of the permanent records.
Permanent records consist of academic transcripts and immunizations records. Students who wish to gain possession of materials scheduled to be eliminated may obtain them in the School Counseling Office after July 15 up until July 25 between 8 am and 2 pm.
Students should request records in writing via email (subject line: School Records — 2018 Graduate) before pick up. Please have identification when picking up files. Materials cannot be released to others without written consent from the owner.
