Adopt Nyke And Neptune

The following kittens are available for adoption through The Animal Center:

NYKE & NEPTUNE: In late May, Animal Center volunteers received a call from the Newtown Parks & Recreation Department asking for help. They had opened up the pool building at Treadwell Park and found a starving mom cat and her five newborn kittens whom she had stashed deep inside the wall that was undergoing construction. In just over an hour, with the help of Recreation officials, Animal Center volunteers, one of whom is trained in animal disaster relief rescue, were able to get all five kittens an mom safely out of the wall and into foster care. Fortunately, the mom cat found a great adoptive home this week, and now it’s time for the kittens to get adopted. The kittens in this litter are Aurora, Nyke, Neptune, Galen, and The Duke. They are nine weeks old, healthy, spayed/neutered and current on vaccines. The kittens may be adopted separately or in pairs.

Good news: Buster and Little Tux have been adopted.
