Improvisational Acting Program
Improvisational Acting Program
There is still time for teenagers with the âimprovâ bug to take part in a special C.H. Booth Library program, âM-Prov!â Monday, July 26, from 5 to 7 pm, when the Marshmallow Masquers Troupe from Glastonbury will be on hand to explain the art of improv acting.
The Marshmallow Masquers will perform skits and lead a workshop with acting games that involve the attendees. Through simple improv exercises, students will âM-Proveâ their skills, âM-Phasizeâ teamwork, âM-Pressâ their friends, and âM-Powerâ themselves.
Pizza and cold drinks will be provided, as well.
Students in rising grades 6 to 12 can register for the improv program at chboothlibrary.org, or by calling young adult librarian Margaret Brown at 203-426-4533.
