Louis Kish
A Man Of Many Talents
Louis Kish, 93, died July 18, at Danbury Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Jolana (Domonkos) Kish for almost 57 years. Born in Palmerton, Penn., January 6, 1917, he spent his first few years there and then moved to Tes, Hungary, where he learned to farm, tend cows, and shoe horses.
Mr Kish is survived by his four loving children, including Joan E. Cominski, and husband Michael, of Newtown. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
A US Army World War II veteran, he worked in construction his entire life, was a member of Carpenters Union Local #210, and retired from Morganti Construction in Ridgefield at age 71. He had the ability to turn a twig into a mighty tree, or tiny seeds into a bounty of tomatoes. After retirement, Louis enjoyed gardening, keeping up with world events on CNN, and working around the house.
Funeral services were in the Kane Funeral Home, Ridgefield, Thursday, July 22.
