These Are Our Friends

To the Editor:

Last week’s Editorial Ink Drops, “The Want of Water” made me very sad. We have next door neighbors who are drinking contaminated water and The Bee endorses the town’s position that we should not help them because it might mean there is less water for us. It’s not like somebody wants to build more homes but can only do so if we give them the resources; these are our friends who have a problem and need immediate help.

Go ahead and first do your studies to see if we can spare some water. In the meantime, let’s just hope that we never run into any problems and need someone to make a sacrifice for us.
