To the Editor:

Let us see some fiscal responsibility in Hartford. Chris LaRocque is the Chris we need as our state representative for Newtown. In his time on the Legislative Council, he has been a voice of fiscal conservatism. He has shown an ability to compromise with the minority party on the council and the sole Democrat.

Chris LaRocque has voted to expand funding for the development of Sandy Hook Center, thereby helping improve the business climate for new economic development and has supported an education budget that allowed for no full-time staff being fired. This is only a snapshot. Most important is his fiscally conservative and reasoned voice in Hartford.

Let’s make a change in Hartford in November and vote Chris LaRocque for state representative of the 106th  on November 2.
