A two-truck collision occurred about 11:15 am on Friday, July 27, near 103 South Main Street.

A southbound panel truck apparently drove into the rear end of a southbound box truck, resulting in the panel truck receiving heavy front-end damage. The panel truck's driver was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.

The incident initially closed the street to traffic as police investigated. Alternating two-way traffic then was later allowed as cleanup work at the crash site continued.

The incident caused extensive traffic backups on South Main Street.
