CT Botanical Program In Southbury
SOUTHBURY â The Audubon Center at Bent of the River will host members of Connecticut Botanical Society (CBS) on Saturday, August 7, at 10 am.
The public is invited to join top field botanists from CBS on a slow-paced walk to search out and examine the many unusual wildflowers, grasses, and other plants found at the sanctuary. Look for forest sunflower, Culverâs root, great blue lobelia, Indian tobacco, ladiesâ tresses and many more. This is a special opportunity to hone plant identification skills with the best.
Suggested donation for the program is $5.
