Evelyn Elizabeth McDougall

Longtime Sandy Hook Resident

Evelyn Elizabeth McDougall, 78, of Merritt Island, Fla., wife of the late Harold Thomas McDougall, died July 13, in her home. Born December 5, 1931, she was the daughter of Adelaide and Charles Weber, and had been a 50-year resident of Sandy Hook.

Mrs McDougall is survived by her brother Charles Weber of Delray Beach, Fla.; four children, Thomas Patrick McDougall of Edgar, Wis., Kathleen Ann Cann of Merritt Island, Fla., Maureen Paloian of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Karen Elizabeth Stout of Chesapeake, Va.; one niece; two nephews; and four grandchildren.

Calling hours are from 5 to 8 pm, Tuesday, August 3, at the  Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. A Mass will be held at St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, Wednesday, August 4, at noon, followed by a burial at St Rose Cemetery on Cherry Street in Sandy Hook.
