Letters Of Endorsement

To the Editor:

On August 10 the voters in Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield, and Bethel will go the polls for a primary vote and select candidates for judge of probate for the new Northern Fairfield County Probate Court.

As a clerk of the Newtown Probate Court for over 20 years, I strongly encourage you to vote, but most of all I encourage you to vote for Judge Daniel W. O’Grady. I have personally worked with Judge O’Grady on many files in the Newtown Court for the 20 years I was clerk. He is familiar with the issues of the court and most importantly with the existing files that will be passed on to the district court determined by the state to be in his hometown of Bethel.

Judge O’Grady was so familiar with the Newtown Probate Court that during the convalescence of now-retired Judge Margot Hall from two major operations, it was Judge O’Grady who filled in during her absence. Experience is key. Knowledge is paramount. Compassion is a necessity. He is a seasoned judge. Judge O’Grady has it all.

In closing I will say that I stand behind Judge O’Grady always and the residents of Newtown will be best served when he is the judge of probate for the district. Vote for Judge Daniel W. O’Grady on August 10.

Thank you my friends and neighbors,

Margaret “Peggy” L. Jepsen
