Ralph J. Madden, 90, of Brookfield, died at his home, July 22. He was the husband of Sara (Brennan) Madden. Mr Madden was born September 9, 1919, in Milwaukee, Wis., son of Anna (Nowack) and Joseph T. Madden.

In addition to his wife, he is survived his nine children, including Martin E. Madden and his wife, Debra, of Newtown; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr Madden was employed as plant engineer for Kimberly Clark, from which he retired after numerous years of service.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 26. Interment followed in St Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
