Three Teens Face Sex Charges

Police have charged three teenage boys with fourth-degree sexual assault in

connection with an incident which occurred mid-afternoon May 5 behind Grand

Union on Queen Street.

Police said the three boys, who are in the 13- to 14- year-old age range,

sexually assaulted a juvenile girl. One boy additionally was charged with

making a false statement in the second degree.

Police said they interviewed the victim, witnesses, and the accused in their

investigation.

Fourth-degree sexual assault involves sexual contact. Police provided no other

details in the case.

The three boys are scheduled to appear in Danbury Juvenile Court May 26 to

answer the charges.
