Location: Western Connecticut State University westside campus, Danbury.

(Take Exit 4 off I-84 West or Exit 2 off I-84 East onto Mill Plain Road/Route

6; turn onto University Boulevard [opposite Super Stop & Shop])

Site: 39 acres with amphitheater: 1,500 seat auditorium, 4,000 seat capacity

on lawn, with "Jumbo StageScreen"; Food, beverage and refreshment concessions;

Ives Center Gift Shop;

On-site parking plus 7 satellite car parks with shuttle bus connection

Concerts: Most weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day

Ticket prices (for major concerts): $35-45 (reserved); $20 lawn seating

(children $5).

Tickets: through Ives Center box office, 837-9226 (also subscriptions),

TicketMaster and Danbury Fair Mall Ticket Booth.

General: Inaugurated 1984 for Charles Ives (1874-1954) as a not-for-profit

company serving the community as a performing arts center and open space.
