Occupation: I've been a teller by choice for the past ten years. Because I

like talking and meeting people I'm at the drive-through.

I used to manage the cafeteria at the Head O' Meadow School. It's quite an

experience to see the children who came to that lunchroom now on their way to

work or with their children. It makes one wonder where the years have gone.

Biggest Change in Town: The people are less friendly; they stop to talk and

chat less frequently. Perhaps they are too busy to care, perhaps it is all the

hustle and bustle in town. Everyone seems to be doing his own thing.

Family: I've been married to Robert, another Scorpio, for 32 years. We have

three children, Kristen, Donna, and James. Kristen and her husband, Chris

Boyd, have a 13-month son, James. Donna works for Grolier, a publishing

company in Danbury, and James studies environmental science. He would like to

work for the state, stopping pollution and cleaning up our water systems.

Hobbies: My hobbies provide me with hours of relaxation. I taught myself to

crochet and can make aghans and sweaters. After my husband brought me a

fantastic camera, I took up photography. My favorite subject, of course, is my

grandson, but I also try to capture the beauty of this town.

Movies: I watch romantic comedies for fun, movies such as Sleepless in

Seattle, Pretty Woman, and When Harry Met Sally. I don't like depressing

movies, and I find adventure films too farfetched.

Books: Reading is another of my relaxing hobbies. I most enjoy mysteries, the

style of Sue Grafton, Mary Higgins Clark, and John Grisham. I try to solve

them before getting to book's end, and am sometimes able, sometimes not.

Whenever I think that it couldn't have been a particular suspect, that that

person was not capable of such a crime, he turns out to be the culprit.

Organizations: I attend St. Rose's Church and am a former member of their

women's club.

Philosophy: Do your best every single day. You won't go wrong.
