Lillian E. Shaw

Lillian E. Shaw, 68, wife of Robert B. Shaw of 10 Stone Fence Lane, Newtown,

died February 6 in Danbury Hospital.

She was born in Stamford, November 15, 1930, daughter of the late August and

Elen Johanson Swenson.

She has been a resident of Newtown the past 22 years and a member of the

Newtown Congregational Church.

A dedicated bridge player, she was a member of several area bridge clubs.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Randall B. Shaw of Granby;

two daughters, Barbara McKinney of Manchester and Pamela Shaw of Danbury; two

sisters, Isabel Chamberlain of Stamford and Margaret Morsa of Trumbull; five

grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown,

on February 10, with the Rev Steven Gordon officiating. Interment was in St

Rose Cemetery.
