OBITS (Rangoni; Senes; Soderberg; Dietrichson; Bouclier; Bittman)

Thomas F. Rangoni

Thomas Frederick Rangoni, 44, brother of Brenda Wilkes of Newtown, died May 24

at his home in New Milford.

Mr Rangoni was the husband of Jean Bongiorno Rangoni of 52 Hipp Road, New

Milford. He was born in New Milford on February 16, 1954, the son of Frederick

Rangoni of Vero Beach, Fla., and the late Marion Ohmen Rangoni.

He spent his early life in Warren, graduated from Brookfield High School, and

lived in New Milford for 24 years and worked as a machinist at Twin Stamping

Co in New Milford for 25 years.

Besides his wife, father and sister, he is survived by a son, Thomas Frederick

Rangoni, Jr, and a daughter, Andrea L. Rangoni, both of New Milford.

Graveside services were held May 28 in the New Warren Cemetery, Warren.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 40

North Street, Danbury 06810.

Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, was in charge of

arrangements.

Jennie Senes

Jennie Senes, 91, of Newtown, formerly of Black Rock, died May 27 in Waterbury

Hospital.

She was the wife of the late John Senes.

Born in Derby, she was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs Senes was a retired assembler for Harvey Hubbell and had been a member of

the St Emery, St Ann, and Newtown Seniors.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday, May 29, 8:30 to 9:30 am in the Lesko Funeral Home,

1209 Post Road in Fairfield center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at

10 am in St Ann's Church. Interment is in St Michael's Cemetery.

Howard Soderberg

Howard G. Soderberg, 78, half-brother of Arthur Soderberg and Gloria Aubin of

Sandy Hook, died May 26 in his home in Westport.

Mr Soderberg was the widower of the late Virginia Gustafson Soderberg.

He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army. He resided in

Westport for the past 25 years. He was a retired foreman for Avco Lycoming and

a shop manager for Slickbar Company.

Mr Soderberg was an avid golfer and a member of the Connecticut Underwater

Divers Association, the Joseph Clinton VFW Post 399 of Westport, and a former

member of the Pootatuck Yacht Club.

Besides his half-brother and half-sister, he is survived by a son, Howard G.

Soderberg, Jr, of Stratford; a daughter, Patricia Diane Soderberg of

Bridgeport; two other half-sisters, Dale Schremmer of Shelton and Beverly

Cassin of Florida; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Friday, May 29, at 10:30 am in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50

Paradise Green Place, Stratford. Prayers will begin at 11 am with the Pastor

Allan Druckenmiller officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery,

Bridgeport.

Friends were able to call on Thursday, May 28, from 3 to 5 pm and 5 to 9 pm at

the Adzima Funeral Home.

Esther Dietrichson

Esther Dietrichson, 92, of Holland, Mich., the sister of Ina Iwertz of

Newtown, died May 26.

Mrs Dietrichson was born in Sweden in 1905 and came to the United States in

1918. She moved from Sandy Hook to Holland, Mich., in 1997.

Mrs Dietrichson worked as a secretary and bookkeeper in New York for many

years.

She was a lifetime member of the Swedish Vasa Order of America and The Sons of

Norway; she was also president of the 60 Plus Club in Newtown and belonged to

the Newtown Golden Notes.

She was predeceased by her husband, Erasmus, in 1957 and her son, Donald, in

1997.

Besides her sister, Mrs Dietrichson is survived by a son, Richard Dietrichson

of Richardson, Tex., and his wife, Mary Ann; a daughter, Joan Buck of Holland,

and her husband, Al; a daughter-in-law, Lanetta Dietrichson of Fredrick, Md.;

14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Gunnar Lindstrom of Sandy

Hook; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to

Hospice of Holland.

Arrangements are by the Northwood Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes.

Robert J. Bouclier

Robert J. Bouclier, 78, a retired model maker for E.I. DuPont in Newtown, died

May 8, in Melbourne, Fla.

He was born in Lyons, France on May 8, 1920, the son of Cecile and

Jean-Auguste Bouclier. He moved to the United States as a young child. He was

educated in France and in the United States, and he raised his family in

Newtown.

Mr Bouclier was married to the late Blanche Trevy Bouclier and the late Marie

Niles Bouclier.

Prior to his employment with DuPont, he was employed with Perkin Elmer.

Mr Bouclier is survived by his 5 children, Christianne Dyson of Ripley, Me.,

Jack Bouclier of Danbury, Elizabeth Lazaneil of Melbourne, Fla., George

Bouclier of Brookfield, and Robert Bouclier of Woodbury; a brother, J. Pierre

of Mt Holly, N.J.; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Services will be private at a time to be determined by the family.

Sabrina Bittman

Sabrina May Bittman, infant daughter of Thomas and Lillian Davis Bittman of

Rose Lane, Sandy Hook, died Thursday, May 28, at Danbury Hospital.

Besides her parents, survivors include a brother, Daniel; a sister, Laura;

paternal grandparents John and Ann Bittman of Waupaca, Wis., and a paternal

grandmother, Lillian Davis of Overland Park, Kan.

The funeral service will be held Monday, June 1, at 10:30 am at the Honan

Funeral Home, Main Street, Newtown, with the Rev Joel Eisness officiating.

Contributions in memory of Sabrina may be made to the Connecticut Chapter of

the March of Dimes, 155 Sounders Plaza, East Hartford, CT 06108.
