*The Palace Theater in Waterbury announced its 2006-07 schedule last week. Tickets for all 2006 performances will go on sale September 5, and tickets for 2007 shows will go on sale November 20. *The Orchestral Jethro Tull will visit Connecticut three times this autumn: October 4 at The Warner Theater in Torrington, October 6 at Foxwoods Casino, and October 23 at Stamfordâs Palace Theatre.
The show is a chamber music presentation of the music of Jethro Tull featuring Tull frontman IAN ANDERSON, a 14-piece chamber orchestra, and violinist Ann Marie Calhoun.

*Tickets for an interesting show at Mohegan Sun Arena â LORETTA LYNN and RANDY TRAVIS â will also be going on sale this weekend. The first lady of country music and one of its leading gentlemen will be in Uncasville on Friday, October 27. Tickets are $27.50 and will be going on sale Saturday morning through all TicketMaster vendors. Remaining tickets will also be available beginning Sunday through the arenaâs box office.
*Also going on sale this weekend â Friday morning, actually â will be the tickets for WIDESPREAD PANIC, who will be at the Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford on Saturday, September 23. Those tickets are all $33.
*IRON MAIDEN will be doing an indoor show, with Bullet for My Valentine opening, at the Dodge Music Center on Wednesday, October 4. Tickets are $55 for general admission including pit access (specify you want access when purchasing your ticket, otherwise you wonât be allowed in), plus tickets for specific seats priced at $35, $45 and $55.
Tickets for this show will be going on sale Saturday morning at 10. The sales for this show and the Widespread Panic show above will all be done through TicketMaster outlets, LiveNation.com or the Chevy Theatreâs box office; the Dodge Centerâs box office will not be open for these ticket sales.
