Hypnotists Attack Road Rage
Hypnotists Attack Road Rage
Dr George C. Anderheggen of the Aspetuck-Newtown Counseling Center reported this week that at the National Guild of Hypnotists meeting, which 1,700 hypnotists attended, Road Rage was set as the groupâs target for 2001.
Research has shown that Road Rage usually escalates into domestic problems such as spousal and child abuse, airplane rage, work rage and in some cases homicide. Members of the National Guild of Hypnotists are in a position to help combat this ever-growing international problem. During the past 14 months the guild has been conducting tests utilizing various approaches for dealing with this problem. The National Guild has provided its members with some of the scripts that have contributed excellent results.
Dr Anderheggen, one of the presenters at Convention 2000, wants to help persons suffering from Road Rage.
He has also added smoking cession as an adjunct to the many services offered at the Aspetuck-Newtown Counseling Center. Smoking has become such a costly health hazard that helping sufferers combat this addiction has become a much-needed service.
