Anna M. Peeler, 74, of 71 Main Street, East Haddam, died August 23 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Philip H. Peeler and the mother of Gail A. OâSullivan of Newtown.
Mrs Peeler was born July 1, 1926, in Lawrence, Mass., daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Janusz) Mazurkewicz.
Mrs Peeler was a Eucharist Minister of St Bridget Church, Moodus, and a member of the Ladies Guild of St Bridget Church where she held the position of president three times.
Besides her husband of 51 years, she is survived by two sons, Ronald Peeler of East Haddam and Brian Peeler of Durham; one brother, Jerome Mazurkewicz of Washington; one sister, Jane Trefrey of Framingham, Mass; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an infant child, Maryann Peeler.
A funeral procession will leave the Swan Funeral Home, 27 W.F. Palmer Road, Moodus, at 9:45 am for a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, August 26, at 10 am at St Bridget Church, Moodus.
Friends may call at the Swan Funeral Home Friday, August 25, from 5 to 8 pm. Burial will be at St Bridget Cemetery, Moodus.
