Helen S. Bobkowski

Helen (Skrabut) Bobkowski, 87, died on August 25.

 She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Bobkowski) Hart, and her son-in-law, Paul, of Newtown.

She had spent the last seven years of her life as a resident of Valerie Manor Convalescent Home in Torrington.

She is also survived by her loyal and devoted husband of 48 years, Edwin Bobkowski of Bridgeport; three other daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley (Bobkowski) Szymanski and her husband, Al, of Boca Raton, Fla., Marlene (Bobkowski) Beaudin and her husband, Tom, of New Hartford, and Rhonda (Bobkowski) Anderson and her husband, Jay, of Trumbull; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Bobkowski and his wife, Carol, of Holden, Mass., and Chris Bobkowski and his wife, Gloria, of Ft Lauderdale, Fla.; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was private.
