William was born on January 5, 1929, to Philomena DelCorno Mazzulla and William Reynard Mazzulla Sr. in Queens, New York. He was an only child.

In 1954, William married Anne Reed. They moved to Danbury, Connecticut, where he began a career with Sikorsky Aircraft that lasted over 30 years. He started by testing helicopter electrical systems in-flight and rose to become a supervisor in the electrical engineering department.

After Anne’s passing in 1988, William married Stella Nalezynski in 1995, and they shared nearly 30 years together. He loved his two stepchildren Eric Kropiwnicki of Connecticut, and Beata Kennedy (John) of Connecticut. He also enjoyed his grandkids and great grandkids.
William was a faithful member of Brookfield Assemblies of God since the mid-1970s, and made sure his children were raised in the Christian faith.
