Carol Recht, right, donated a blue spruce to the town, only a few feet tall since it was planted last fall. The tree is in memory of her husband and longtime public figure Richard Recht. The late Longview Tree Farm proprietor’s name is now embossed on a plaque placed before the tree on Monday, August 25. Ms Recht stands with town hall managers’ office administrative assistant Marcy Becker and Edmond Town Hall administrator Tom Mahoney, left center, and building superintendent Clark Kathan.
