Beloved Husband, Father, And Grandfather

Hector Castaneda, 84, of Needham, Mass., died August 20 at Newton Wellesley Hospital with his wife, children, and grandchildren at his side.

He was born in Santa Isabel, Colombia, in 1921. Mr Castaneda was a lover of nature, and observing animals in the wild was one of his favorite pastimes.

He and his wife immigrated to the United States in 1990.

He is survived by his wife Olga; his children, Adela Todd of Newtown, Hector of Coconut Creek, Fla., Jose Orlando of Port Chester, N.Y., Cecilia Trujillo of Lynn, Mass., and Esmeralda Bertozzi of Needham.

Six grandsons, five granddaughters, and two great-grandchildren, presently residing in various parts of the United States and Colombia, survive Mr Castaneda.

Three grandsons, Ryan, Jesse, and Patrick Todd are graduates of Newtown High School.

He will be missed by all.
