Jane H. Dwyer, 92, of Monroe, died August 31, at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of Joseph and Teofila Hyzinski, and the stepdaughter of Chester Wysocki.

Survivors include a daughter, Jaynis Pixley and her husband, Robert, Jr, of Newtown and a son, John M. Dwyer, Jr, and his wife, Rita; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband John M. Dwyer, Sr, and two brothers predeceased Mrs Dwyer.

She was a resident of Monroe for 39 years, and had previously lived in Fairfield and Bridgeport. She had taught line dancing at Senior Centers in Easton, Monroe, Bethel, and Newtown, until her retirement at age 85.

All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

The Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, is in charge of arrangements.
