Charter Communications Internships Available
Charter Communicationsâ CommuniTyVision 21, the local access channel for the cable company, will hold an intern recruitment meeting at the companyâs Newtown studio on Thursday, October 2, at 7 pm.
The next intern next session will begin in October, and applications are currently being accepted. Community members are invited to come and find out what the CommuniTyVision 21 Video Production Internship is all about.
The internship is free and open on a first-come, first-served basis to residents in Charterâs franchise area. Interns will receive extensive training in all aspects of video production and can use the experience to produce their own community television programs for airing on CommuniTyVision 21.
The internship offers various opportunities to many different people. High school and college students can receive school credit. The program has served as an effective tool for gaining valuable experience for those looking for a new career path. It also allows franchise residents to become involved in their community and work with others who hold similar interests.
All interns are encouraged to produce their own community-based programs.
