Thomas âTomâ Michael Schulz, 86, a resident of Annapolis, Md., and previously of Fairfield, died September 3 after a lengthy illness. Born February 2, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he graduated from St Augustine High School and from New York University with a bachelorâs of science degree in business and foreign trade.
 Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Audrey E. Schulz; his children, Nancy Sedensky of Newtown, Thomas Schulz, Jr, of Wallingford, Eileen Shalvoy of Southbury, Jo Ann Wells of Severna Park, Md., Marilyn Glover of West Hartford, and Ann Marie Reardon of The Woodlands, Texas; his sister, Mary Malley of Rockaway Point, N.Y.; and 14 grandchildren.
He was employed as an international executive sales manager for Remington electric shavers, then as a national sales manager of GE small appliance division, and finally as president and founder of Fountain Products in Connecticut. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a community advocate in Bridgeport for Bridge House, Inc, a program to help the mentally ill. He was a member of the Masons Lodge, and the American Legion. Mr Schulz was very active at his church.
