Work Out To Support The Troops And Veterans
BROOKFIELD â No-Limit Health & Fitness is concerned about the welfare of the US troops both during and after their war service. With that in mind, the staff of the health club has organized a two-day nonprofit, nonpartisan, nonpolitical charity event that will raise money for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA).
All are invited â members and nonmembers alike â to visit the club, at 1120 Federal Road, for a workout on Friday, September 12, between 5 am to 10 pm, and Saturday, September 13, from 8 am until 5 pm. Work out for a minimum donation of $8, and the club will donate $5 per person after the first 150 workouts of each day. All donations will go directly to IAVA.
In addition to the workouts, visitors will also be able to meet professionals from sports-related health and fitness fields including a sports acupuncturist, chiropractor, and a massage therapist. There will also be personal trainers available offering assessments for donations over $15, and classes will run at various times each day.
Founded in 2004 by Iraq veteran Paul Rieckhoff, IAVA has more than 100,000 veteran members and grassroots supporters in all 50 states. IAVAâs mission is to improve the lives of Americaâs newest generation of veterans and their families.
The organization works on critical issues including a new GI Bill, mental health, and traumatic brain injury. For more information, visit IAVA.org.
