October 5, 1992-September 18, 2009

Each year we pause,

when September winds return,

To feel your presence in the hush,

in the light, in the gentle burn

of memory that never fades—

your spirit, soft and bright,

Still dances in the morning sun

and whispers through the night.

We miss your butterfly kisses,

your beautiful blue eyes,

The giggles, the smiles, the joy you brought—

as boundless as the skies.

Your soft skin, your sweet grin,

the love you gave so free,

A quiet soul who taught the world

how deep love’s truth can be.

You spoke in ways beyond just words—

with pictures, heart, and grace,

And every room you ever touched became a warmer place.

You found your voice in music's notes,

with Jenn you’d sweetly sing,

“Let it Be” would fill the air,

as hearts took flight on wings.

We see you still on summer days,

swimming through the blue,

Or sharing laughs with your twin brother,

shooting hoops like you loved to do.

Food, and fun, and family time,

music with your sis—

In every cherished memory,

you live within our bliss.

Your smiley face reward card still

reminds us to believe

That joy is found in smallest things

and love will never leave.

Though you were non-verbal,

your message echoes strong:

In every soul you ever touched,

your spirit sings a song.

From your life, a light was born—

a place where love still grows,

Families United in Newtown,

your legacy, it shows.

You taught us all that every child

deserves a voice, a place—

And in your name, we carry on,

uplifted by your grace.

So on this day, we hold you close,

your memory ever near,

We miss you more than words can say,

our angel, sweet and dear.

Until we meet again someday,

in skies so wide and free,

We feel your love in every breeze—

and softly… let it be.

Love you always,

Mom (Dad, Lindsey and Austin too)

Forever in our Hearts, Always in our Lives
