Helen Klotz Behm, 88, of Monroe, beloved wife of the late Reynold O. Behm, died September 7 at her home. Born in New Britain, she was a Monroe resident for more than 37 years.

Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Groonell of Newtown, Shirley Brooks of Ryegate, Vt., and Nancy Gennette of Huntington; a sister, Mary Hyde; three brothers, Donald Klotz, Stephen Klotz, and John Klotz; 11 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Her husband; a daughter, Marjorie Rehl; two sisters, Ann Leonard and Irene Klotz; and a brother, George Klotz, predeceased her.

Mrs Behm was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and the Monroe Senior Center. She was an avid golfer and gardener.

Funeral services were held September 11 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Monroe, with the Rev Bryan Leone, pastor, officiating. Interment followed in Monroe Center Cemetery.
