Locks Of Love

Locks of Love is a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to children under the age of 18. Most of the children have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata for which there is no known cause or cure. Other children have lost their hair because of medical treatments. For more information, visit locksoflove.org.

Zoe Brodsky donated 10 inches of her hair on August 28. Zoe is a fourth grader at the Housatonic Valley Waldorf School.

Bethany Lingl, 12, donated 11 inches of her hair. She just decided one day that she wanted to donate her hair, and two days later, had it cut. Bethany used to attend school with a girl who had lost her hair to cancer treatments.
