The Status Of Bald Eagles

In Connecticut

DERBY — The Naugatuck Valley Audubon Society, Inc, in cooperation with the Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Kellogg Environmental Center, will host a program, “Life Status of Bald Eagles in Connecticut.”

The program will be given by Julie Victoria, a wildlife diversity biologist with the DEP. Ms Victoria will give a talk and slide presentation on the life history and nesting success of bald eagles in Connecticut on Tuesday, September 20, at 7:30 pm, at the Kellogg Environmental Center.

Julie Victoria has been a wildlife biologist for 26 years, and works at the Franklin Wildlike Management Area in North Franklin, Conn.

Kellogg Environmental Center is at 500 Hawthorne Avenue, off Route 34; signs are posted.

A donation of $4 for nonmembers of the Naugatuck Valley Audubon Society is requested. For further information, directions or to register, phone the Kellogg Environmental center at 734-2513.
