Like A Good Neighbor…

To the Editor:

While Newtown awaited Irene’s arrival, my family and I were on a Caribbean cruise. CNN kept us updated as to her path, but we knew Irene would be visiting our neighborhood. We e-mailed a friend, asking to have her teenage son come and move our patio furniture and belonging into our garage. We were told it had already been taken care of by our neighbor. Aimee Seaver took it upon herself to move over 20 pieces of iron furniture, plants, tables, chairs, etc into our house and garage. She ensured everything was secure prior to the storm. We are truly blessed to have neighbors who see what needs to be taken care of without being asked. Newtown is definitely a lot nicer with the Seavers. Thank you friend!
