You were born with your brother on a warm October morn,

and left unexpectedly on a fair September dawn.

Why did you leave?

Why did you come?

You were our gift from God, very special at that,

You taught us all so much — that we can never forget.

We grieve the loss of your beautiful smile at this one-year anniversary,

but know your memory lives on in our hearts for all of eternity.
