Rowland Gets A Radio Show

HARTFORD (AP) — Former Connecticut governor John Rowland is adding another job title to his resume after serving prison time for corruption: radio host.

WTIC-AM’s website revealed Wednesday that Rowland and the Reverend Will Marotti, senior pastor at New Life Church in Meriden, will host a new talk show titled Church and State weekdays from 3 to 6 pm.

Rowland said Wednesday in an interview with Fox affiliate WTIC-TV that the show will begin Thursday and feature discussions on politics, religion, and other issues of the day.

Rowland says he and Marotti have a one-year contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The former Republican governor resigned in 2004 and spent ten months in a federal prison camp on a corruption charge.
