Federal Child/Adult Care Food Program
First Selectman Herb Rosenthal recently approved Childrenâs Adventure Centerâs participation in the federally funded Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Under this program, nutritious meals and/or snacks are provided at no separate charge to all enrolled participants. In accordance with federal law and the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) policy, discrimination is prohibited in all its programs and activities on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
Persons with disabilities who require alternative means for communication of program information (Braille, large print, audiotape, etc) should contact USDAâs TARGET Center at 202-720-2600.
