Former Bee Editor Featured

Former Newtown Bee sports editor Tom Wyatt is featured in the October 2008 issue of Success From Home magazine, which is on news stands now. Mr Wyatt is being featured for his accomplishments as a work-from-home entrepreneur with SendOutCards.com, where he is one of the company’s top producers as well as a corporate trainer.

At the company’s national convention last month, Mr Wyatt and his business partner Curtis Lewsey of Bridgeport were recognized as executives, and top coaches and sponsors, as well as being named to the company’s Eagles’ Nest, which is made up of top performers.

Mr Wyatt was with The Bee from 1988 to 1998. He currently resides in Southbury where he is president of the Southbury BNI chapter, a member of the Tribury Chamber of Commerce and a coach in Southbury Youth Softball.

SendOutCards is an online greeting cards service that allows the user to create a greeting card online, type the message, and click the “send” button. The company then prints the card — in the user’s own handwriting and signature — and actually mails it to the recipient for pennies on the dollar.
