The following dogs and cats are available for adoption from the Newtown pound, which is located at the end of Ethan Allen Road (behind the transfer station):
MARTY is a three-year-old Rottweiler mix who is very playful. He gets along with dogs and may be okay with cats.
POLLY is a five-month-old female grey and white domestic short hair cat who is sweet and playful.
MILLIE is a one-year-old black and white domestic short hair cat who is a little shy but sweet.
FELIX is a two-year-old male Pomeranian. He seems to get along with other dogs and cats, is fine around children and enjoys sitting in laps.
JENNY is a three-year-old spayed female white/brindle mix breed who is well socialized with people, but cats and other dogs would not be an easy mix. Jenny is energetic and would play throughout the day with her new owners.
CHARLOTTE, a four-year-old female Hokkaido-terrier mix, has a sweet personality and is friendly with other dogs and people.
SASHA is a four-and-a-half-year-old spayed female brindle Terrier mix who would be an excellent companion for children.
ARTHURÂ is an eight-month-old male mixed breed. He loves to cuddle and thinks heâs a lap dog. Arthur is very playful and puppy-like but can also be calm and very gentle.Â
PRISCILLA is a seven-year-old female Pitbull. She is great around cats and dogs and craves affection. She has a very sweet personality and loves to be around people.
AMBER is a four-and-a-half-year-old white/brown spayed female mixed breed. Amber has a sweet nature and is fine with other dogs and cats.
