Francis F. Serreti, 72, of Bedford, N.H., died September 19 at his residence following a period of declining health. He was born in Bridgeport, on January 13, 1934, the son of Carmelo and Constance (Nardo) Serreti.
Members of his family include his wife of 45 years, Roberta (Silke) Serreti of Bedford; two sisters, Norma Delia of Newtown and Catherine Lisi of Derby; a brother, Pat Serreti of Strafford; a son, Francis J. Serreti of Haverhill, Mass.; three daughters, Lauren Filmore of Newbury, Mass., Lisa Burtt of Hollis, N.H., and Robyn Brunet of Auburn, N.H.; a granddaughter with whom he was very close, Johanna Haigh; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.
Mr Serreti was educated in the Bridgeport school system and graduated from Fairfield Prep School. He received his bachelorâs degree from Fairfield University. Prior to retirement, Textron in Wilmington, Mass., had employed him as a business manager for 30 years. Mr Serreti loved gardening and preparing meals for his family. He possessed a quick wit and will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. Above all, he loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford, N.H., on Friday, September 23. Burial will follow in St Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
