Police Holding Found Items For Their Owners

Police are holding for safekeeping a variety of items that recently were found in town.

The owners of the described items should contact Sergeant Darlene Froehlich at the police station at 3 Main Street, telephone 426-5841, to claim the items. Found following the Labor Day Parade on September 4 were: a Nikon Coolpix digital camera with a black camera case found at the intersection of Main Street and Sugar Street; a pair of reading glasses with black and brown frames found at the intersection of Main Street and Sugar Street; two Razor-brand scooters found in a ditch near the intersection of Sugar Street and Elm Drive; and a Pacific Scorpio-brand bicycle found at 6 Queen Street near the Big Y supermarket.

Also being held by police are: a DeWalt-brand reciprocating cordless saw found on Route 25 on August 29, and a black pouch with rosary beads found at Sand Hill Plaza on July 30.
