Stanley G.     Czupkowski

Retired Stamford

Firefighter

Stanley G. Czupkowski, 63, of Monroe, beloved husband of Nancy Czupkowski, died September 12 at St Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport. He was born in Stamford on February 22, 1943, to Stanley Z. and Carmela (Simonetti) Czupkowski.

Mr Czupkowski leaves behind his wife; five sisters, Margaret Rocca of Newtown, Geraldine Bamberger of Stamford, Diane Hughes of Stratford, Georgette Bateman of Stamford, and Rosemarie Darling, also of Stamford; one brother, Robert Czupkowski of Brookfield; two sons, Edward and Mark Czupkowski, both of Monroe; and two daughters, Karen Czupkowski of Monroe and Donna Czupkowski of Stratford. A son, John Czupkowski, predeceased Mr Czupkowski.

He served proudly in the United States Army and attended some college. He was a firefighter for the city of Stamford until his retirement. Mr Czupkowski also belonged to the Holy Name Athletic Club in Stamford.

Funeral services were held September 16, at the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, Monroe, and in St Jude Church, Monroe, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment followed at Resurrection Cemetery in Newtown.
