A newspaper reporter with a broken leg (Stewart) passes time recuperating by observing his neighbors through his window. He sees what he believes to be a murder, and decides to solve the crime himself. With the help of his girlfriend (Kelly) and nurse (Ritter), he tries to catch the murderer without being killed himself. These two screenings of the 1965 action-thriller directed by Alfred Hitchcock are being offered by Newtown Cultural Arts Commission as part of the 2016 Newtown Arts Festival events.
