Former NHS Runners Star For Keene State

Eric MacKnight, a 2007 Newtown High School graduate, Kevin Hoyt,  a 2008 NHS grad, finished first and second, respectively in Keene State College’s win at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational on September 18.

MacKnight, a senior at the Keene, NH-based school, finished in 24:40 (4:58 mile pace). Hoyt, a junior, completed the run in 24:48, averaging a 5 minute mile. There were 272 runners in the race. Charlie Baldour also a Newtown grad, is on the team.
