To the Editor:
Three years ago, we had the honor of meeting one of the most genuine people we know. Chris Lyddy walked into our deli for lunch one day, and we had no idea who he was then, but since that day, our friendship has grown fast and true.
Owning a small business can be very difficult at times. Chris has taken a sincere interest in the success of our little deli, as well as other local businesses. He has been proactive in guiding us with the continuation of the revitalization of Sandy Hook Center in the hopes of generating interest; and therefore, revenue for local business. Chris takes a direct interest in the health and safety of our children as was proven when he was recently recognized as a Childrenâs Champion for the second time.
On a very personal level, Chris made himself available to us when our son was diagnosed with Hodgkinâs lymphoma last year, offering us his help and support. His interest and concern was a true testament to the fact that we were not just âa voteâ to him, but real people faced with a real crisis.
We are confident that Chris Lyddy is the right candidate, the only candidate, capable of representing our community needs in Hartford. He will undoubtedly have our vote on November 2.
Sincerely,
Katherine & Randy Pineau
