Button Shop Road

About 11:18 pm on September 18, motorist Katherine Peters, 16, of 26 Charter Ridge Drive was driving a 1998 Honda sedan westward near 25 Button Shop Road, when a deer entered the road, police said.

Peters attempted to avoid colliding with the deer, but the Honda went off the road, struck three trees and then landed in a ditch, police said. Ambulance volunteers responded to the scene to check Peters’ injured finger and she refused medical transport, police said. Botsford firefighters responded to the scene.

Police said they verbally warned Peters for a lane violation.
